Of Bunnies and Birds and Spring

Spring! Spring! Spring!

Spring is almost here!! I cannot say I've ever been more excited for Spring, maybe because we finally have our own place (and garden spots) to plant things in.....and partly because I'm just so (ever so, ever, ever so) sick of Winter.....and snow and cold and ice...tee hee! I can't wait to plant some summer-blooming bulbs and things, and herbs and tomatoes and, and and....tee hee.  And there are already little crocuses and tulips popping up here and there around the yard! eeeep!

 

And, of course, there is Easter coming....I've been a-work on this here bunny (pictured above, complete with her stitch-up scar on the side-oops!).  She shall wear brown felt boots, have a pretty calico frock and removable voile, ruffled collar, and...just perhaps, a little teal caplet (for mornings when the chill still hangs in the air). She is going to sit proudly front and center in our wee one's Easter basket....I hope she enjoys her (she is all about bunnies as of late....bunnies, and of course,  bears.

 

  

 I also recently re-arranged the bird decals in Miss's room....now rather than just flying about the wall here and there, these little birds have a job to do....holding up the pretty little buntings!
